Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten decades. She was a member as captain of the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze medal for the balance beam. She became an the only American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. At the 2016 Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal in the team event that brought her along with co-teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been among the few Americans to have two consecutive team golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercises. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. In addition she was part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly supports an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. The next goal she has is the expansion of her signature range of leotards. Fierce the new novel she's working on, will be published later in the year.
